During December 2007 a group of international artists spend twelve days in Sangeorgiu de Mures, near Targu Mures in Transylvania, Romania - playing, collaborating, talking, eating and drinking.

Located at morisena participants are presented with Romanian, Hungarian and Gypsy folk music in recording and performance, and through collaboration and interaction amongst themselves and in the community produce new contemporary music inspired by the surrounding culture.

The happy campers will also be broadcasting live experimental, unrehearsed music for 10 minutes each day on Romanian station Radio Alternativ.

Regular participants are Margita Zalite, Iuliana Varodi, Baiba Lange, Martha Moopette and Ergo Phizmiz. Throughout the project other artists, musicians and dancers from the local community will also participate.

Every day from 9-12-07 to 20-12-07 this website will feature free mp3s of the music created during the project, a constantly updating archive of exploratory sound-art. All work is licensed under Creative Commons.
